The first photo was taken at Mukteshwar, early in the morning, as it gets cloudy and ther majestic Dhauladhar ranges get hidden.
The second photo was taken at Kaudiyala, just 32 kms upstream of Rishikesh. These colors of nature were available for a fleeting moment, and I was lucky to have my camera at hand.
AWESOME SIGHTS.

Nature..........as I saw it
Prashar lake
High up in the mountains above Mandi, is a lake - PRASHAR LAKE - which never dries or fills up, according to local folklore - and is a place to go and be one among the clouds.
Though there's not much one can do - in terms of a city life - but its a perfect getaway if one needs to be 'away from it all'.
WORD OF CAUTION THOUGH - carry your rations, woollens, medicines etc, as there is a very bare minimum facility in terms of lodging and boarding.
Prashar Muni temple, on the edge of the lake, is an Architectural sample of 3-tiered pagoda style construction - made almost entirely of wood.
